Much has happened since our last update in Autumn. Like the seasons, we here at Tamed Wild continue to evolve, grow, and change. One of our biggest and most exciting changes is our decision to bring our order packing back in-house and to transition away from our fulfillment center. Over the years, we have learned many lessons in packing subscription boxes, shipping orders, and providing quality customer service. As we grew, we felt the best way for us to focus on the customers was to let the “professionals” pack our orders. We excitedly partnered with a fulfillment center and trusted they would take care of you all the same way we would. We were wrong.
The thing we love the most about this community is our open communication. You let us know when we have made your day, and you also let us know when we have let you down. We appreciate that balance and would expect nothing less from this community of magickal beings. You let us know that your orders were arriving incomplete, late, packed without care, and sometimes, completely broken and shattered. We heard your frustration and felt it just the same, so we decided to pull back.
We are currently in the process of transitioning and have taken over shipping 95% of your orders ourselves. We hope that when your order arrives, you can feel the difference in the care that is taken with your hard-earned purchases as we strive to get back to that artisan experience that Tamed Wild is known for.
This holiday season has been a whirlwind for us, and we are so grateful if you chose to shop with us. Myself, my husband Jason, my mother-in-law Dawn, and our daughter Saylor have all been on our feet packing alongside our team late into the night these last few weeks; and we couldn’t be more grateful. We love seeing what y’all are ordering. You are some good gift-givers! Also, we have a lot of readers in this community, and the beautiful books being packed make my heart so happy!
