Charles Kingsley's Victorian retelling of three Greek myths for young readers — Perseus, the Argonauts, and Theseus — first published in 1856 and written for his own children. A small decorative volume with portrait frontispiece, ornamental title page, and illustrations throughout, issued as part of Altemus's Beaux Arts Series.
