What is the Shadow?
A term coined by psychologist Carl Jung, the Shadow can be described as the unconscious parts of us that we do not accept, show to the outside world, or feel comfortable acknowledging. Our Shadow can encompass our fears about how others may view us as well as the things we know about ourselves to be true, but prefer to “hide.”

In a sentence, Shadow Work is a form of inner reflection that brings personal awareness to these parts of us that we may not be fully conscious of, or may not be comfortable facing. It's quite literally, facing your Shadow.
