About This Class:

In the season of Samhain, the underworld wants to speak with you. These messages can be divined with the support of our herbal allies. In this hour-long class, meet the herbs of the underworld, the ones that thrive in the spaces of the shadows and can be incorporated in our ancestral altars of the season.

About This Series:

Staying connected can be challenging in a world that so frequently tries to separate us from our essential relationship to the land and all the life it nourishes.

There are so many obstacles—the constant sense of urgency and innumerable deadlines that add up to the hectic demands of so-called modern life—not to mention the physical distance that often separates us from the natural world, which may be due to our living situations being disconnected from nature, a scarcity of green spaces, especially in urban areas, or just the daily busy-ness that prevents us from even seeing the life around us.

Despite all of it, the plants are still here, waiting for each of us to return to them. In this series, together, we'll listen to nature's wild medicine, the plants' messages, and the wise ones' guidance, the herbs that work with us for healing, alignment, and magic. Through these seasonally designed hour-long classes, you'll learn rituals, spells, and folklore to walk with you on the Green Witch path.

She co-hosts the Magick & Alchemy Podcast and supports Tamed Wild on social media, in our e-mails, and at retreats. Her first book, co-authored with Shelby Bundy and Tamed Wild, came out in 2023, called Wild Medicine. Her second book, Word Witch, is forthcoming in 2025. In addition to her work with Robin Rose Bennett, she has completed twelve weeks of Poisonous Plants study with Kathryn Solie and completed the two-year herbal immersion with Juliet Blankespoor online at Chestnut School of Herbs.
