Witchcraft 101: Spells, Herbs & the Moon
Learn the basics of spell crafting, divination, ritual writing, working with the moon, herbs and crystals with the witches of Tamed Wild.
This course includes seven 90-minute LIVE sessions taught by five women from the Tamed Wild team.
Course Syllabus:
Module 1: Welcome to the Magick: Tuesday, January 28th at 7-8:30 pm EST
In this opening module, we’ll welcome everyone to the group and provide a brief overview of the course content. Then, we’ll dive into foundational topics like color magick, candle magick, the different "types" of witches, and practical tips for starting your path. By the end of the session, you’ll feel inspired and ready to explore the many layers of your craft. This module is led by Tamed Wild Creatrix, Shelby Bundy, @themoonincarolina.
Module 2: Working with the Moon & Her Phases: Tuesday, Feb. 4th at 7-8:30 pm, EST
In this module, we’ll dive into the lunar cycle, exploring the unique energies of each phase and how to align your craft with the moon’s rhythm. By the end, you’ll have a clear understanding of when to plant seeds of intention and how to nurture and grow them throughout the month, weaving the moon’s magick into your daily practice. This module is led by Ariel Halka of @flameofthefae.
Module 3: Crystal Magick Tuesday, Feb. 11th at 8-9:30 pm, EST
Why are crystals such powerful allies in our practice? What energies do they carry, and how can we cleanse and recharge them to keep their magick alive? When should we part ways with a crystal, and how do we choose the perfect one for spells, sachets, or everyday energy work? In this module, you’ll gain the essential knowledge to confidently work with these magickal stones, whether you’re just starting out or deepening your practice. Led by Danielle Fried of @mysticandmineral.
Module 4: Divination & Speaking to Spirits Tuesday, Feb. 18th at 8-9:30 pm EST
This module offers an in-depth exploration of divination and connecting with energies beyond the veil. We’ll cover practices such as scrying, pendulums, Tarot, channeled writing, and other methods for tapping into spiritual guidance. By the end, you’ll have the tools and understanding to begin developing your own intuitive connection. This module is led by Paranormal Investigator Amanda Paulson of @prettyfnspooky.
Module 5: Working with Deities Tuesday, Feb. 25th at 8-9:30 pm EST
In this module, we will explore the practice of working with deities, from identifying their presence to building meaningful relationships with them. You’ll learn to recognize divine energy, create offerings, and honor the deities who resonate with your path. By the end of the module, you’ll feel confident in inviting divine allies into your craft and cultivating a connection rooted in respect, intention, and reciprocity. This module is taught by Danielle Fried of @mysticandmineral.
Module 6: Plant Magick: Tuesday, March 4th 7:00-8:30 pm EST
In this module, we’ll delve into the world of plant magick, exploring how to work with herbs, flowers, and other botanicals to enhance your craft. You’ll learn the magickal properties of plants, how to create potions, sachets, and charms, and ways to honor the natural energies around you. This module is taught by Herbalist Kate Belew of @k8belew.
Module 7: Rituals & Spell Craft: Tuesday, March 11th 7:00-8:30 pm
In this final module, we’ll bring everything together as we explore the art of rituals and spell craft. You’ll learn how to combine the skills and knowledge from previous modules to create meaningful rituals and effective spells tailored to your intentions. By the end, you’ll have a deeper understanding of how to craft your own magickal practice with confidence and intention. Taught by Word Witch Kate Belew, @k8belew
